How we invest your pension

We spread the risk. Solely saving up pension contributions is not sufficient to guarantee an inflation-proof pension. That’s why we invest your monthly contribution for you. We do this globally, as long-term investors, in several types of investments. This enables us to be strategic in how we diversify risks. Ultimately, the pension you receive will largely consist of the return on investments.

We invest responsibly. As a long-term investor, we are an engaged shareholder that not only strives for the best return for your pension, but also demands that the companies it invests in act responsibly and are good employers.

Sustainable results

We're holding companies accountable. We firmly believe that engagement is the tool to achieve sustainable change. After all, excluding a company and selling the investment simply means giving up your influence. For this reason, we engage in conversations with companies about their policies and the actions they take. In doing so, we generally form a collective with other institutional investors. We believe that active shareholder engagement keeps companies vigilant and encourages them to have a greater focus on sustainability.
