What does leaving Shell mean for your pension?

Information sessions regarding redundancy and your pension

In December and January, Shell Netherlands and Shell Pension held information sessions regarding the impact of redundancy on your pension. During these sessions, we explored the options available to you when leaving Shell. We recognize that you may have questions about how these changes affect your pension and what the transition to the new pension scheme means for your situation.

The information shared in these sessions is relevant for all employees who are considering retirement, as well as for former employees who aren’t employed by Shell anymore but are considering retiring soon. Whatever choice you make, it’s good to understand your options.

Did you miss the session and want to watch it back?

What happens to your pension accrual when you leave Shell?

Leaving Shell means your pension accrual stops. If you wish to start your pension immediately, you'd need to apply at least two months in advance. Find out more about what happens to your pension when you leave Shell: Leaving the cpompany (SSPF)(opens in new window) or Leaving the comany (SNPS)
